Launched in 2007, GreenAir is an online publication dedicated to publishing independent, informative and up-to-the-minute news, features and analysis on current issues surrounding aviation and its impact on climate change and the environment. It has no association with industry, environmental pressure groups or government bodies and so is able to present opinions from all sides without bias. GreenAir covers a broad spectrum of subject areas, and has devoted considerable coverage to the developments and debate on the inclusion of aircraft operators into the EU Emissions Trading Scheme.
GreenAviation provides the aviation sector and supporting companies with a range of advisory, business information, project management / implementation and bespoke product solutions. The company has specialists in emissions trading, finance and risk management, biofuels, operational improvement and technology. Its client base extends to more than 60 airlines, operators and other companies located in each continent. In 2009 it organised an educational "ETS Masterclass" in London for airlines preparing for the EU scheme and which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants; this experience is being leveraged for the Aviation Carbon 2012 event.
